Oversized. Soft. Lovely.

I love an oversized tee. When done right, it's so sexy. I like that I can see the fabric moving with the body. It looks comfortable and effortless, which are two of my favorite things in fashion. I found these and brought them in- just in time for all those holiday parties.Cowl Neck Tunic $55.00 at The Seventh Heart.

Today's Recommendation: High Waters.

I had a date last night with a sewing machine. I thought it would be nice to change things up a bit. I grabbed my blue jeans and decided to hem them way too short. It's a look I hadn't yet tried. I love to change it up. I wear my jeans baggy and straight legged. I paired them with a pair of Red Wings, a baggy tee, and an oversized scarf. I was pretty happy with the outcome. If you don't want to commit to hemming just cuff 'em up way too high.

As important as good shoes, is a handsome bag.

This year I have acquired quite the bag collection. Totes, bags with short straps, bags with long straps, an oversized bag, a bag with no shoulder strap etc. I questioned this new accessory in my life, and realized that while on a budget, a new bag can change your look easily. I love a thick heavy canvas bag, great for everyday, or a weekender. Canvas bags are available at The Seventh Heart $18-24.00.

I'd like to introduce you to my new crush.

I have spent the last handful of years buying vintage boots and handsome dress shoes, and I LOVE them. They will always have a place in my heart, and my closet. They look great with jeans and a t- shirt. Dressed down or up they totally work. Just like anything else, sometimes something shiny and new catches your eye. My love for boots lead me to Red Wings, they are timeless and QUALITY. I really love the way a good pair of boots wear in. A boot you can have forever.

Today's recommendation: Looking good from all angles.

Whether you desire a loose or a tighter fit, it is important to feel good in the denim you are in. There are so many denim lines, all offering something unique to their brand. To me, it's all about Levi's. The fit. The washes. The history. The quality. The price. All are unsurpassed. I have narrowed it down to some of the best cuts: Levi's 514 straight leg jeans. 513 Higher rise looser fit. 524 medium rise skinny fit . All at The Seventh Heart $42.00-54.00.

A Well Fit T- Shirt Will Get You Everywhere.

I'm the kind of person that grabs a t-shirt off the floor, pair of Levi's, a good pair of shoes. Call it a day, or evening for that matter. It's a total uniform. Jeans you can wear everyday, but the t-shirt has to be refreshed more often. T-shirts are sort of an obsession for me. I'm always on the quest for the perfect fit. I'm pretty sure I've found them. Super soft, good hang, oversized or more fitted. Always flattering. Perfect tees for Ladies and Gentlemen at The Seventh Heart from $19.00- 29.00.

My Heart Belongs To Daddy

Who doesn't love a daddy? I mean really... "Daddy" is available at The Seventh Heart $29.00.

If there is anything I love It's 90's Madge

A little fact about Mark (the other owner here) and I is that we met in the 90's in high school. We introduced ourselves to each other over a conversation about Madge. Pretty gay, pretty cute. This is BY FAR our favorite era of Miss. Ciccone. This tee is called "My Love" and is available at The Seventh Heart $29.00.

In My Ears. YAS

YAS is Yasmine Hamdan. Born in Beirut, she was shunted around between Lebanon, Greece and the Gulf countries. Bred on various musical moods, inspired by artists such as Chet Baker, Grace Slick, Janis Joplin or Nina Simone and fascinated by the arabic traditional old repertoire, she co-formed the lebanese underground band Soapkills, in witch she performed sensual songs experimenting Arabic moods into a minimalist trip hop music. Mirwais and Yasmine met in Paris, where she lives today. Their collaboration started when Mirwais listened to some of Yasmine's maquettes and was inspired to offer YAS to her. On top of singing in arabic with Lebanese, Egyptian or Kuwaiti accents, she composes and writes her own lyrics. The result is explosive. Completely new, totally intelligible. Nothing in common with a colonial “world-music”. If one needs a reference, take Daft Punk, Kraftwerk and Madonna, put them in a shaker made in Lebanon, shake vigorously and serve on the rocks. That’s YAS: a terrific shot of Arabic electro-pop that goes to your head and gets your pelvis moving. In the 20th century pop culture is an Anglo Saxon affair. In 2008, plate tectonics called YAS revolutionize the world’s geo-cultural order; it’s now between Kabul, Beirut and Paris that it’s happening. A new crusade of liberation.

I Won't Share You.

As a devoted fan of Morrissey and The Smiths. I am pretty sure I want this. My wrist will prove it to you.

Handsome on any coffee table.

Synopsis Steven Patrick Morrissey is one of the most original and controversial voices in the history of popular music. With The Smiths, he led the most influential British guitar group of the 1980s, his enigmatic wit and style defining a generation. As a solo artist, he has continued to broach subjects no other singer would dare. Worshipped by some, vilified by others, Morrissey is a unique rock and roll creation. The 300,000 words of "Mozipedia" make this the most intimate and in-depth biographical portrait of the man and his music yet. Bringing together every song, album, collaborator, key location, every hero, book, film and record to have influenced his art, it is the summation of years of meticulous research. Morrissey authority Simon Goddard has interviewed almost everybody of any importance, making "Mozipedia" the last word on Morrissey and The Smiths.

Today's Obsession: Grace Jones

My love for Avant Garde, forward, original thought always leads me to Miss Grace Jones.
