I love a bow tie. It's really refreshing to see people putting in that little extra effort and incorporating the bow tie into everyday looks. The classic bow tie will never tire. I recently was presented with a local designer, Diego Gomez, who incorporates bow ties in various fabrics onto necklaces - making it even easier to make this look happen. So cute with just a t-shirt. I love an oversized tee. When done right, it's so sexy. I like that I can see the fabric moving with the body. It looks comfortable and effortless, which are two of my favorite things in fashion. Today's Recommendation: High Waters.

I had a date last night with a sewing machine. I thought it would be nice to change things up a bit. I grabbed my blue jeans and decided to hem them way too short. It's a look I hadn't yet tried. I love to change it up. I wear my jeans baggy and straight legged. I paired them with a pair of Red Wings, a baggy tee, and an oversized scarf. I was pretty happy with the outcome. If you don't want to commit to hemming just cuff 'em up way too high.

This year I have acquired quite the bag collection. I have spent the last handful of years buying vintage boots and handsome dress shoes, and I LOVE them. They will always have a place in my heart, and my closet.
